What is a “Maker”? Hint: You Are!
The answers to this question are extremely varied and broad, as they should be because there is no single definition of a “Maker.” That would exclude too many people. Humans are, by their very nature, Makers, and the movement is a celebration. We celebrate our humanity by rejoicing in the creative making that our planetary cohabitants partake in.
A FUN SPACE
Alberni Valley Makerspace is devoted to teaching, learning, and mentorship, by providing access to tools and resources.
Community Focus – Community requests drive programs and events.
Active Participation – We encourage community members to host classes and information sessions.
People Not Profits – As a not-for-profit, all donations and fees are put back into the space through classes and equipment.
